Masi Renzo & C.-Fattoria di Basciano

Our family estate Fattoria di Basciano, in the Chianti Rufina area, consists of 35 ha of vineyards. Grape varieties are 70% Sangiovese and the remaining 30% Colorino, Cabernet Sauv., Syrah and Merlot. Paolo Masi (founder) bought it at the beginning of the 1900s. From end of the 80s, with grandchild Paolo Masi, the family began investing and improving the quality level of the wines through more appropriate cultivation and managing criteria.The new basement winemaking and aging cellar in wood came into operation with the 2002 harvest. Up in the Fattoria we lead a high level Agriturismo.
