Weingut Stefan Zehetbauer

Stefan Zehetbauer vineyards are all strongly influenced from the limestone and mica slate soils that define the appellation Leithaberg DAC. The priorities lie in the vineyard work, interventions in the cellar are kept to a minimum. Producing precise and elegant wines with striking minerality and ageing potential are important for Stefan Zehetbauer. The region typical varieties Blaufränkisch, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay make up the majority of the range with a focus on single vineyard wines. The winery is known for their Cabernet Franc, which they pioneered in Austria at the end of the 80ies.
