From the very beginning, Wolfgang Aigner worked consistently to exploit the potential of his outstanding vineyards. For it is there, in the terroir of Frechau and Weinzierlberg, that the strength of the winery lies, which today produces some of the most interesting white wines in the Krems region on around 20 hectares. Most of the vines were planted 40 years ago and the focus is on the Grüner Veltliner and Riesling varieties. The wines have an unmistakable profile - they are full-bodied but not heavy, appear fresh, with a distinctive spiciness and a powerful bouquet.
