Weingut Stift Göttweig

The Stift Göttweig winery can look back on 1000 years of tradition, because the Benedictine monastery has existed since 1083 and with it, the vineyards at the foot of the "Göttweiger Berg".

Today, the responsibility for the cultivation of the vineyards, for the vinification and the marketing of the wines of Göttweig Abbey lies with Fritz Miesbauer and his team, who have leased the land with its 30 hectares of vineyards since 2006.

We are particularly proud of our 1.ÖTW-classified single vineyard sites Gottschelle, Silberbichl and Pfaffenberg.
