Weingut Stadt Krems

With more than 550 years of history, Weingut Stadt Krems is one of the oldest wine producers in Austria and Europe. Since July 2003, the winery has been run by a young, innovative team led by Fritz Miesbauer. The flagships of Weingut Stadt Krems are "Riesling" and "Grüner Veltliner". Grapes for pure and terroir-related wines thrive on primary rock soils (gneiss and slate). Weingut Stadt Krems is a member of the Austrian Traditional Wine Estates.
