WG K+K Kirnbauer

The family, who has lived in Deutschkreutz for more than 350 years, has always been involved in winegrowing - but it was only Walter und Irmgard Kirnbauer who expressed this passion when they bottled the first wines in 1979, the year the K+K brand was born, under their own name. In 1987 Walter Kirnbauer realized the potential of his creation and proved he had a keen sense for marketing when he conceived a brand name for it - a novelty in the Austrian market back then. At the same time, this was also the initial spark for the ongoing success story of the cuvée culture in Austria.
