Weingut Mehofer-Neudeggerhof

The Mehofer family has lived and worked on the Neudeggerhof estate for more than 300 years. Since 1992 all wines have been produced organically. Today, the tenth generation is focusing on typical Austrian varieties such as Grüner Veltliner and Roter Veltliner. Their favourite vineyard is Wadenthal - a unique site known for its great biodiversity. All the wines are characterised by deep layer of "Loess" a rather cool Austrian climate. The family also grows PIWI varieties, they fill their wine in light-weight-bottles and they grow trees for barrel production ... all, for generations to come.
