Description
A wine that pours into the glass with a medium cherry red color with distinct violet reflections. On the nose, there is a pronounced fruity aroma reminiscent of sour cherries, dark berries and pickled plums, underscored by a delicate chocolate note and a hint of licorice. On the palate, it presents itself as soft and juicy with a mild tannin structure and a discreet but refreshing acidity. The finish is clearly characterized by the sour cherry fruit and the mild spice.

Food Pairing
A red wine that can be served slightly cooler at around 14-15°C in a white wine glass. It goes very well with fried fish, such as salmon trout on red wine butter sauce with spinach, light poultry, such as chicken breast on sour cherry glaze, but also with game terrines with Cumberland sauce.
