Hans Reisetbauer devoted himself to producing top-notch spirits and set out to become the fi rst and greatest Austrian whisky maker. The mission: A Single Malt Whisky, distinctive and unique in taste and of the highest quality, made from ingredients that grow in the fertile grounds of Hans’ Kirchdorfergut. No sooner said than done: Hans Reisetbauer originally planted the key ingredient for his own whisky, the barley, in the spring of 1995. With this he laid the foundation for the unique Reisetbauer & Son Single Malt Whisky.
What Hans Reisetbauer began in the mid 90ies, he is now sharing and continuing with his son, Hansi Reisetbauer Junior. After graduation from university, where Hansi Junior deepened his knowledge in agriculture, he joined his father‘s company, where he contributes new ideas and approaches.
