Description
Zierfandler is a white grape variety unique to the Thermenregion. Its berries are only ripe when they glow pinkish in the late autumn sun. The taste is complex. The fresh, clear nose brings a delicate scent of yellow gooseberries and physalis, with hints of straw. Fine hazelnuts and sliced almonds surround the fruity aromas. On the palate there is a structured and tight-knit wine. A strong acidity, a long-lasting hint of citrus fruit in the finish and a clear salty aroma that lingers on the tongue for a long time.
