The next big red variety from Greece and local to the region. Sweet spices, chocolate, pronounced clove and dark cherries with a botanic freshness of bay leaves emerge on the aromatic profile. The acidity and rich tannins combined with a rich aftertaste promise a long ageing potential.

The 2022 harvest was followed by an intuitive vinification. The destemmed grapes were placed into a steel tank in an airconditioned room not exceeding 16⁰ C. The cap was kept wet by manually punching down (pigeage) and the skins are gradually removed. After the fermentation is completed, the wine was placed in used French barriques for 12 months and remains unfiltered.
